We are located in Ayamonte in Southwest Spain meaning that all our great value sailing courses are 100% tidal. With such a great location it's no wonder we chose to base our Sailing School in this part of Spain from where we offer practical learn to sail weeks and RYA theory courses.
Ayamonte is a typical Spanish white washed town bustling with activity and cafe culture, yet the pace of life somehow remains slow and relaxed with generations of local families converging on the various plazas at sundown to chat and put the World to rights. Situated on the river Guadiana which provides a natural border between Spain and Portugal, fishing plays an important part in the local economy and the town boasts numerous restaurants and tapas bars with the emphasis on locally caught fish, Serrano Hams from Extramadura and wines from Huelva province. The town provides an interesting start point for your sail training course or sailing holiday, easily accessed from Faro International Airport with good infrastructure - getting here couldn't be easier.

It is important to us that you achieve your boating ambitions. For some people that may be day sailing (confidently) with friends and family, whilst others may be working towards that dream cruise taking them to distant and exotic shores. Whatever your goal, from your initial enquiry to planning that Atlantic Crossing - we are with you every step of the way!
We love passing on our knowledge and hope we can inspire you to follow your boating dreams, learning to sail is not as difficult as some people would have you believe. The basics can be mastered quickly on the Start Sailing and Competent Crew courses allowing you to put into practice what you have learn't. However there are no short-cuts and to become truly competent takes a lifetime, in fact you never stop learning even having achieved the dizzy heights of Yachtmaster you would be amazed at how much more you can learn. Sailing can be compared to building a house, get the foundations right and the house will serve you well for many years to come, ignore the foundations and you are left with a dangerous pile of rubble that nobody wants to go near.
